Our full diagnostic assessment is designed to be straightforward, reassuring, and genuinely helpful. We use the two most respected tools in adult ADHD assessment, providing both clinical interview depth and objective, computer-based measurement.
After your assessment, you'll receive a detailed written report and clear guidance on next steps — including treatment options or signposting to trusted clinicians if needed. Nothing is left vague.
We also send short screening questionnaires beforehand, and someone who knows you well — a partner, family member, or close friend — can complete one too, helping us build a fuller picture before we begin.

The DIVA 5
The Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults (DIVA 5) is the most widely used ADHD assessment tool in the UK. It's a structured, in-depth interview aligned with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
It explores symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity across two time periods — your childhood and your current adult life — giving a comprehensive developmental picture.

QbCheck
QbCheck is a computer-based test that objectively measures the three core symptoms of ADHD: attention, activity level, and impulsivity. Results are compared against a large normative dataset of age-matched adults.
This provides clinical, objective evidence to complement the DIVA interview — giving a complete and well-rounded picture of your neurocognitive profile.

Book & receive questionnaires
After booking, you'll receive a screening questionnaire to complete beforehand. An informant questionnaire — for someone who knows you well — is also available and recommended.
QbCheck assessment
You'll complete the 20-minute QbCheck computer test. This is straightforward and can be done from home. It measures your attention, activity, and impulsivity objectively.
DIVA 5 interview
A detailed, structured conversation — typically 2 to 3 hours — exploring your childhood and current experiences. This is the clinical core of the assessment, conducted in a safe, supportive environment.
Written report & next steps
You'll receive a comprehensive written report detailing findings, diagnosis where appropriate, and clear recommendations for treatment and support. We'll also talk you through everything.
